Tribute to Arfa Karim, PM Gilani approves her postage stamps.

Prime Minister Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gilani approved the issuance of a commemorative postage stamp for late Arfa Karim Randhawa, the youngest certified Microsoft professional in the world on Friday. PM gave approval commemorative stamp in recognition of Arfa’s achievements at such a young age.

She passed away in Lahore at the age of 16. The delightful teenager was an outstanding student with an exceptionally virtuoso mind. She was a role model and an image for the children of her age as she has won several accolades during her inspiring career with Microsoft which she had started at the age of 9. The Pride of Performance winner has left this temporal world with the message that nothing is unmanageable in this world and with hard work one can accomplish objectives at a very short age.

She suffered from cardiac arrest after an epileptic seizure on December 22, 2011 and was admitted to Lahore's Combined Medical Hospital (CMH) in critical condition. But she lost her life on 14 January 2012.
